New Kent County Courthouse to be formally dedicated

The new $75-million Kent County Courthouse formally opens today, although it’s been in use since early this month.

The 145-thousand square-foot building nearly triples the space available in the previous 134-year old building on The Green in Dover.  A renovation of the old courthouse is also planned.  A ceremony to open the new courthouse is scheduled for today (Tuesday) at 10:00 a.m.
