New Farmer’s Market opens at Gorgas Park

The Gorgas Park Farmer’s Market is officially open for business.

Two sisters, Anita McCann-Hepler and Nancy McCann-Foy of Elk Township, New Jersey, will be working the booth every Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the park, near Acorn Street.

They kicked off their opening day on Friday with a selection of fresh strawberries, asparagus, zucchinis, flavored honey straws, cucumbers and much more.

To see what they’re offering each week, visit the market’s facebook page.
