NEast Links: the NEast Phillies edition

Here’s a summary of the week’s Northeast news we didn’t cover. See others here.

In honor of the Phillies’ NLCS win Wednesday night, here are some extra videos from Cottman and Frankford. Be warned – some contain the kind of language and nudity Philadelphians have come to expect with a big win like this.

From My Fox Philly

Phillies fans got pelted with beer cans and bottles after one man climbed a traffic light on the southwest corner of Cottman and Frankford.

Another fan got hit with fireworks after climbing a tree. His fellow fans – maybe caught up in the rush, or jealous of the attention – set off a Roman candle in the intersection.

From YouTube

NEast Philly posted several videos from Wednesday night’s celebration, but we didn’t get it all. Here’s some more footage, captured by excited Northeast fans.

People hanging out near 5 Points expressed their excitement with a four-minute dance party.

This video has some of everything: fireworks, traffic-light climbing and chants for asshole and f— the Yankees.

And finally, one very happy fan got face time on NBC10 while trying to share an intimate moment with reporter Claudia Rivero.
