Northeast native Jennifer Carroll is getting recognized for more than her cooking at Center City’s 10 Arts, where she is the executive chef. Carroll has been featured on Top Chef: Las Vegas, where she’s made it to the final 10.

Katie Sahasaylo of Mayfair recently had a very famous date to a very popular event. The 2002 St. Basil graduate went to the Emmy Awards with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. After seeing Katie’s on her YouTube broadcast, Katie’s Opinion, MacFarlane called her up and offered her voice over work for the animated series. Katie is also working on a reality show pilot.

In old news, Philebrity took another weak shot at the Northeast this week by once again associating us with Kate Gosselin and her haircut. Nothing we haven’t heard before.
