NCCo Courthouse open

It’s back to business as usual again at the New Castle County Courthouse today, following Monday’s shooting there.

Courthouse services resumed, Thursday, but grief counselors remain on site for NCCCH employees, jurors and others affected by Monday’s tragic shooting when two people were killed. The gunman killed himself.

Victims’ assistance counselors and others will be available at the NCCCH and based in the Pro Se Center on the 2nd floor (next to the law library) between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

To access assistance by phone and at other times, employees, witnesses, and others should call either the Delaware State Police Victim Center at 1-800-VICTIM1 or 1-800-842-8461, or the Employee Assistance Program at 1-800-343-2186.
