The natural gas drilling impact fee law explained

    The bill setting Pennsylvania’s impact fee for natural gas drilling was passed by the state house yesterday and now awaits Governor Tom Corbett’s signature. After Corbett signs the bill into law, counties will have 60 days to decide whether they want to enact a fee within their borders. The law has been years in the making.
