Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week in Delaware to be proclaimed in Dover

A week devoted to spreading awareness about Multiple Sclerosis is underway in the First State.

Today, Governor Markell will be joined by representatives of the Delaware chapter of the National MS Society in signing a proclaimation.  More than 1,550 Delawareans are living with MS.  Already this week, activists and volunteers have taken part in “movement events,” and open houses are being held in each of Delaware’s three counties.  Several Wilmington buildings are also lighting up orange in recognition of MS Awareness Week.
