Mt. Airy library closed till Jan 18
If you thought Lovett Library, 6945 Germantown Avenue, felt a little chilly lately it’s because the heater was broken. Library officials say now that temperatures are into the 30’s it’s just too cold to continue. The library will be closed till Jan 18 when it’s believed repairs can be completed. Till then there’s always Chestnut Hill, Northwest Regional or West Oak Lane branches to check out books. On the bright side at least no one was talking about burning books to stay warm.
