A zoning variance has been approved in East Falls to allow for the breakdown of a single-family property into a multi-family home with commercial rental space. Though the variance was ultimately supported by the East Falls Community Council, many residents lamented the transition the historic property at 3549 Sunnyside Ave. Ted Bordelon covered the meeting for NewsWorks, and spoke to the owner of the property, who also serves on the EFCC zoning board.
