MLK Cougars host youth-football clinic via sporting-goods co. program [gallery]

As part of a “Sports Matters” campaign that helped bring last season’s “We Could Be King” documentary to life, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Martin Luther King High School hosted a youth-football clinic at the Stenton Avenue school on Saturday.

The all-skills football clinic was led by Will Hewlett who, according to Dick’s, has “trained more than 50 Division 1 quarterbacks and currently owns The Range, a premier football training facility” in California.

The event was open for youths between the ages of 8 and 14.
