Missing woman found dead in Wissinoming

The body of Wissinoming resident Donna McDonald was found Saturday near Vankirk and Erdrick streets.

According to reports from McDonald’s fiancee, Stephen Hackney, McDonald, 49 went missing Feb. 15 when she walked to a nearby WaWa for cigarettes. Hackney told authorities he waited for her to return, but she never did. (Video from Action News below.)

Hackney told Action News he didn’t speak with police until Wednesday, two days after McDonald went missing. He then came across medical examiners as he was driving around in search of his fiancee. Hackney identified the body, which had been found among the snow in the common driveway.

At this point, police do not suspect foul play.
