Missing Bucks County woman declared legally dead
A Bucks County Common Pleas Court judge has declared Diane Corado legally dead after months of searches turned up no leads to the missing woman.
Corado disappeared Dec. 19 after being kidnapped by her boyfriend.
The ruling will allow Corado’s family to settle her estate, as Action News reports, but does not affect the criminal case against her suspected killer, Kenneth Patterson.
Patterson was arrested after allowing Corado’s friend, whom he also kidnapped, go free. Authorities found blood in his SUV in Camden, but searches in New Jersey and Bucks County for Corado’s body have proven futile.
