A message from Bike Share Philadelphia

Take this survey. Please answer question #16 by recommending Bike Sharing!

At the October 26, 2009 Forum on the Future of Bus Shelters and Street Furniture, (public amenities on the sidewalk such as benches, bus shelters or bike share stations) the Mayor’s Office of Transportation and Utilities stated that Bike Sharing is not currently being considered as part of the City’s street furniture proposal. We need to keep Bike Sharing an important issue for the City. As an extension of the Forum, a survey is online asking for citizen input for the street furniture amenities. Please answer question #16 with Bike Sharing!

Help Bike Share Philadelphia move the City to issue a Bike Sharing contract proposal before a Street Furniture contract proposal!

Putting Bike Sharing in the survey is an important step!

We still need everyone to write Mayor Nutter and let him know we need bike sharing in Philadelphia no matter how it is funded. If you haven’t, please do and if you have, do it again at Takeaction

If you haven’t joined Bike Share Philadelphia on facebook , please become a fan.
