Meeting on the closing of postal processing facility

A proposal to close a Delaware postal processing facility is the subject of a community meeting tonight in New Castle.
The US Postal Service wants to merge the mail processing operation now being done in Delaware with a similar facility in New Jersey.  The move is designed to improve efficiency and productivity, but has drawn strong opposition.  Tonight’s meeting will be held at the New Castle School at 903 Delaware Street in New Castle.  More information on the plan is available on line at usps.com.
