Meeting looks at revenue options for Transportation Trust Fund

Task force meeting in Dover will focus on possible revenue options for the state’s Transportation Trust Fund.

The fund, which faces significant financial challenges over the next few years, helps fund improvements to the state’s roads.  Long range budget estimates show transportation shortfalls growing to $140 million or more by 2016.

Today’s public meeting of the Transportation Trust Fund Task Force will be held at the DelDOT Administration Building on South Bay Road in Dover from 3 to 5 PM.
