Markell signs reforms for emergency mental health screenings

Governor Markell signs a reform of Delaware’s emergency mental health screenings in Wilmington this morning.
The measure is designed to help avoid unnecessary involuntary detentions by providing mental health screenings on scene for those experiencing a mental health crisis.  The new law is designed to provide help to those in need at the least restrictive care setting possible.
