Marijuana growing operation uncovered in southern Delaware

Delaware State Police have uncovered a marijuana growing operating near Camden, Delaware.

The 855 marijuana plants were found in a wooded area east of Almshouse Road and south of Westville Road on Monday after police received an anonymous tip.

The area had been cleared and an irrigation system had been set up using a gas generator to pump water from a nearby stream.

Police also found tools, tents, sleeping bags and men’s clothing.
