Main Street Manayunk’s Bisou Bistro annouced last night that they will be closing their doors.

Jane Lipton, executive director of the Manayunk Development Corporation confirmed that the restaurant is now shuttered.

“I think [Chef Clark Gilbert] is a great chef and I hope he goes on to do something great,” said Lipton. She found out about the restaurant’s plans to close on Sunday and has begun preliminary talks about what will come in its place.

A message left for Gilbert was not immediately returned.
