Man arrested for knife-point robberies around the Northeast

Police have arrested a man in connection with five robberies around the Northeast.

Jason Martino is charged with robberies that took place between Oct. 27 and Oct. 30 at businesses in Somerton, Bustleton and at Franklin Mills, as well as at a home in an undisclosed neighborhood.

The Burger King at 11703 Bustleton Ave. was robbed at 8 a.m. Oct. 27. Subsequent robberies took place at the McDonald’s at 501 Franklin Mills Circle, the Exxon at 335 Franklin Mills Circle, a relative’s home, and the McDonald’s at 9970 Bustleton Ave.

A knife was used in the business robberies and Martino was charged after being tracked down in Bensalem and identified by witnesses.
