Report: Somerton homicide ‘very personal’

The shooting that left a 19-year-old dead at a Somerton construction site is likely personal, according to reports about the nature of Monday morning’s events.

Daquan Crump, 19, was found dead on the 10000-block of Northeast Avenue at Red Lion Road, the border between Somerton and Bustleton. Crump, who worked at the nearby Wendy’s, had no arrest record, but was shot almost a dozen times in the face.

Few other details about the crime or possible suspects or motive have been released.
