Leaving your mark: Asbury Park artists leaves his in form of mural

How would you leave your mark? One artist has found a way to answer that very question.

The Star-Ledger reports artist Shepard Fairey has installed what he calls “The Rebel Waltz,” a large mural that depicts Paul Simonon, bass guitarist for The Clash.

The mural is part of the All Tomorrow’s Parties independent music festival this weekend.

According to the story, Fairey and his crew used stencil and spray-paint to create the urban art installation.

The murals were created in conjunction with the exhibit “Revolutions: The Album Cover Art of Shepard Fairey.”
