Lawyers to announce priest abuse suit on behalf of Delaware County man

Update: The announcement will be made tomorrow in front of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia building.

Original report 3/14: Attorneys Dan Monahan, Jeff Anderson and Marci Hamilton will announce today another lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

“The Lawsuit will allege that Archdiocese officials conspired to endanger the safety of the Plaintiff when they actively concealed their knowledge of Kline’s previous offenses, lied to parishioners, and created a sham sexual abuse victim assistance program for the Archdiocese,” says a release regarding Father John Kline of St. Francis Xavier Parish and Roman Catholic High School.

The suit also names Cardinals Anthony Bevilacqua and Justin Rigali, who are also named in the suit Phil Gaughan has filed in connection with his abuse at Our Lady of Calvary parish.
