Kathleen Kane and Chris Christie. Two elected officials in the headlines this week that share more than alliterative names. Both have big personalities that served to both propel and limit their political aspirations. NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller sat down with a roundtable of WHYY reporters to discuss the politicians’ busy weeks.

Katie Colaneri delves into what’s next for the forces opposing Pennsylvania Attorney General Kane, saying they will likely be seeking the more direct route of impeachment. While it’s a different method, the final vote will ultimately return to the senate.

As for New Jersey Gov. Christie, Phil Gregory says how he’ll behave after returning to the Garden State is unknown. Now that his presidential campaign has been grounded, Christie could come back unwilling to make compromises. But on the other hand, he might be more willing to broker deals if his sights now are set on a 2020 presidential run.
