Jill Biden honored in Wilmington
Jill Biden will be honored in Wilmington for her founding of the Biden Breast Health Initiative.
The Vice President’s wife started the not-for-profit Biden Breast Health Initiative in 1993 to educate young women about the importance of breast self-exams, early detection and a healthy lifestyle. The program is offered to young women in schools around the state at no charge. Biden will be honored at the noon event a the Hotel du Pont.
