It’s time to turn back the clocks!

It’s time to turn back the clocks again, but what does this mean astronomically? And a distant galaxy is discovered, the most distant galaxy ever observed.

It’s time to turn the clocks back again, but what does this mean astronomically? The earliest sunset of the year is in December, but then sunsets begin to come later and later eventually ushering in long awaited springtime. Also, a galaxy has been discovered that is the most distant galaxy ever observed, but if you want to observe right here at home just look up at Jupiter, which is high in the sky after the sun sets and of course the other constellations are still there from the summer. And birthday greetings to Harlow Shapley who was the person who established that our Milky Way galaxy is larger than anyone ever expected and realized our sun was not in the center of the galaxy.
