Injured teen wrestler released from hospital
Mazzerati Mitchell has been released from the hospital. The 16-year-old had surgery last week despite his parent’s wishes after he sustained back injuries during a high school wrestling match.
Mitchell’s parents lost custody of their son when they sued for the rights to treat their son’s injuries with herbs. A Delaware County judge allowed Jefferson University Hospital to perform surgery on the Upper Chichester High Schooler’s back.
Fox29 reports the teen has been transferred to a rehab facility and is doing well.
