A Saturday morning heroin deal in Bear ended in a shooting that left one man in critical condition.

State Police say the shooting happened in the Sunset Station shopping center on Pulaski Highway around 10 a.m on Saturday. The shooting victim met a Newark couple in the shopping center parking lot in order to sell them heroin, according to State Police.

During the deal, police say one of the buyers shot the seller in the upper body. The victim escaped the car and was taken to Christiana Hospital where he is in critical condition.
