Haverford Township School Board to vote on technology proposal
The Haverford Township School Board is expected to vote next week on a technology proposal presented last week at a board meeting.
The district’s Technology Services department is hoping to bring its high schools up to pace with a practice already in place at the elementary and middle school levels: replacing teachers’ computers with laptops.
Haverford Patch has the full details and cost estimates of the proposal, which calls for district funding to provide 122 high school teachers with laptops and docking stations, as well as the virtualization of district servers to centralize administrative tasks.
