Harrisburg legislature gets automatic 3% raise

When was the last time you got a raise?  If you’re like most hard working Pennsylvanians it’s probably been a while.  But if you’re lucky enough to be one of the 253 members of the Pennsylvania legislature, a 3% cost of living increase kicked in on December 1, bringing the average salary up to about $80,000.

On today’s installment of It’s Our Money hardworking reporter Holly Otterbein figures if the legislature gets an extra 3%, she should too.  Can you guess what happens when she asks for a raise?
