Mt. Airy’s best kept secret may be its Halloween parade

An estimated 500 people turned out for the Halloween costume parade on Monday in West Mt. Airy. Janet Gala brought her video camera to the event and created this video for us. She captured part of the parade that included parents, kids and dogs. The parade begins at the C.W. Henry Elementary School parking lot then travels up Greene St. to Sedgwick St. to Sherman St. then to Carpenter Lane.
