HackfinityPhiladelphia will help City Hall solve some woes

Ever since the release of War Games, in the 80s, Hackers have had a pretty bad rap. Even Angelina Jolie in a white pleather jumpsuit couldn’t break the stereotype.

But recently, in an effort to drum up public interest for different programs, staged events called Hackathons have been popping up around the city.

According to an article on Technically Philly, the city of Philadelphia is now getting into hacker hosting, with HackfinityPhiladelphia, giving the programming community a chance to put a few brownie points back on the board, in the name of techies everywhere.
