Gas prices down over the weekend

Delaware gas prices were down slightly over the past week, but still higher than the national average.Delaware’s gas average is $3.40 for Monday, down a penny over the weekend and just two cents over the past week.  Nationally, the average price of a gallon of gas is $3.30, unchanged over the past week.  AAA Mid-Atlantic predicts that 2013 will not see gas prices as high as 2012.  “AAA believes gas prices will be lower this year than in 2012, barring any unforeseen circumstances, due primarily to increased U.S. oil production and lower demand.,” said AAA’s Jana Tidwell.  “The national average price of gasoline should peak at $3.60-$3.80 per gallon barring any significant unanticipated events.”
