Outdoor showing of Princess Bride cancelled

The scheduled outside showing of Princess Bride in Lovett Library’s garden was cancelled due to the strong thunderstorms earlier tonight.

Princess Bride is part of the Moonlight Movies Series sponsored by Mt. Airy USA and The Trolley Car Diner. The Diner’s owner, Ken Weinstein, informed NewsWorks of the cancellation.

Princess Bride was originally scheduled as part of last summer’s line up, but was cancelled twice due to rain. So, if this gets rescheduled bring an umbrella.

Actually, Moonlight Movies has an agreement with Cliveden to use its carriage house for rain events, but tonight’s planned showing was simply cancelled.
