Five suburban Philadelphia fire departments get FEMA grants

    Five suburban Philadelphia fire departments are the latest to receive grant money through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. U.S. Sen. Bob Casey made the announcement yesterday.

    The companies will split more than $430,000, which comes from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program.

    Warminster Fire Department will receive $139,500
    Phoenix Hose, Hook and Ladder Co. No. 1 will receive $232,513
    Ogden Fire Co. No. 1 in Upper Chichester will receive $28, 980
    Parkside Fire Co. will receive $22,899
    Oreland Volunteer Fire Co. will receive $12,350
