Airy (2nd), Alonzo Neal of West Oak Lane (4th) and his granddaughter (3rd) were the first people to set up at this year’s West Oak Lane Jazz Festival. Neal arrived at 8:30 a.m. even though the first performance at his location doesn’t begin till 7 p.m.
