This is the story of clownfish Marlin’s search for his only remaining son in Pixar’s Finding Nemo.

Marlin, a single parent after the tragic death of his mate, Coral, is overprotective of Nemo. When he finds out that Nemo will be heading to open sea on his first day of school, he goes after his son. Nemo is bagged by a diver and Marlin sets on a quest to rescue his son.

Marlin is aided by Dory, a fish with short-term memory loss; Crush, a totally rad sea turtle; and Nigel a sympathetic pelican on his journey as Nemo makes his own friends in a small aquarium in a dentist’s office.

Packed with adventure and Pixar’s usual stellar animation, this 2003 film is suitable for all ages and perfect for a fun family night out.

Next Friday Moonlight Movies presents E.T. under the stars.
