Mt. Airy hosts its first Final-ly Friday event

The Business Association of Mt. Airy (BAM) held its inaugural Final-ly Friday event this past weekend. The highlight of the evening was the opening reception and dedication of Mt. Airy Arts Garage’s Solomon Levy Gallery, featuring a retrospective of Levy’s photographs.  Art lovers also checked out the three artist Linear Perspectives exhibition at Mt. Airy Contemporary Artists Space. Attendees enjoyed restaurant specials and live music performances from Aaron Mitchell, Baba Got It African Drum Ensemble and Elgie’s Kitchen.  BAM’s next Final-ly Friday will be held on May 25 under the theme “Summer Start-Up.”
