This just in from SEPTA: Service on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line is suspended in both directions between Walnut-Locust and Snyder Stations.
Shuttle bus service is in effect between those stations.
A Broad Street Line train struck a person northbound at Lombard-South Station. This incident, which occurred at 5:01 a.m., is a confirmed fatality. No further information is available at this time.
