Fatal train pedestrian accident in East Falls ruled a suicide

An unidentified male was struck by a SEPTA regional rail train around 11 p.m. Monday while walking on the tracks north of Calumet Street in East Falls.

Philadelphia Police say the case has been ruled a suicide but have no further information on the identity of the man.

No one was injured on the train and the incident is still under investigation.
