Fashion students take recyclables to the runway

Philadelphia University students showed off their innovative designs at the annual Design X Fashion Show in Downs Hall Auditorium in East Falls on Tuesday.

Each design incorporated five different textures which included anything from placemats to bubble wrap to paint chip samples.

It was part of the school’s fashion design problem solving class which encourages students to push the boundaries when it comes to fashion and experiment with inventive ideas.
