Expect traffic delays during Saturday’s Enon Tabernacle Run/Walk across Northwest Philly

Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church’s annual “Fit 4 Eternity 4.5 Mile Walk/Run” will cause traffic delays in several Northwest Philadelphia neighborhoods on Saturday.

Philadelphia Police announced that the event, which starts at 8 a.m., will begin in the 200 block of W. Coulter St. It will then head north on Wayne Avenue to Washington Lane, east on Washington Lane to Mansfield Ave., north on Mansfield to Vernon Road and east on Vernon Road to Pickering Street.

From there, runners and walkers will head to the finish line along the 2800 and 2900 blocks of Cheltenham Ave.

“Officers will be assigned to this event, however, delays should be expected,” a police traffic bulletin explained.
