Electronics recycling

Germantown-based TTF hosted the electronics recycling event, which Swain managed, to make sure area residents could keep their unwanted electronics from becoming environmental hazards in landfills or massive dump sites in developing countries.

The new code of ethics includes a mandate to educate youth about the global problem of electronic waste as well as a pledge to prevent e-waste from being dumped into ill-equipped facilities, such as solid waste landfills, or those that employ child labor.
