Elderly woman murdered in Wilmington

Police say a woman was found stabbed to death inside her Wilmington home.
Officers were called to an apartment in the 900 block of N. Jackson Street early this morning, where they found the victim, 83-year-old Wilda Hutt. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Wilmington police have arrested one suspect, Hutt’s daughter, 57-year-old April Hutt.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
