Sovereign Bank in Northwest Philadelphia robbed

Bank robbers hit Sovereign Bank in Cedarbrook-section of Philadelphia.The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subjects responsible for robbery at 8319 Stenton Avenue on Tuesday.

At approximately 12:23pm, two subjects entered the bank and presented a threatening demand note to the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, subjects fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.

Subjects are described as African American males, thin builds, approximately 5’10” tall, with Black Muslim-like clothing covering their heads and bodies.
