New workshop entitled “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” enages children to practice their reading skills. The kids will be asked to read to Wally, a trained therapy dog.

The workshop, “Tail Waggin’ Tutors: Children Reading To Dogs,” will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 22 and 29 at the Falls of the Schuylkill Library, located at Midvale Avenue and Warden Drive.

This program provides a relaxed and dog-friendly atmosphere, which allows students to practice the skill of reading. Call 215-685-2093 to learn more.
