Police release video of armed robbery at Dunkin Donuts at Chew and Wister

Philadelphia Police are seeking the public’s assistance to catch an armed man who robbed a Dunkin Donuts in East Germantown on Friday night.

At 7 p.m. Friday, a gunman entered the Dunkin Donuts at 5301 Chew Ave., approached the counter, demanded money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of case, he ran off through the parking lot and has not been caught, police said.

The suspect, who was captured by surveillance cameras inside the store, is described as a 5 foot 8 inch tall, 180-pound black male between 19 and 24 years old. The suspect has a husky build, sideburns and was wearing an orange Polo hat, black Nike windbreaker and black pants at the time of the robbery.
