Domestic violence survivor speaks in Wilmington

Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence will host its annual Purple Ribbon Event to honor heroes in the fight against domestic violence.  Keynote speaker for the event tonight at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts is Lavon Morris-Grant.  Morris-Grant was shot four times in the head an upper body during an attack in 1996 by her then-husband.  Over the past 14 years, she’s been telling her story of recovery and healing with audiences around the nation.
