Dog of the Week: Nathan

This goofy boy is Nathan (A16316822)!

Nathan is an adult terrier/shepherd mix who was brought to ACCT as a stray. Someone found him in an abandoned property in South Philly and brought him to the shelter.

Nathan is very unique looking. He is all white except for some brown markings above his left eye and his right ear. It is super cute! Nathan is a very playful, social guy who loves to be around his human friends.

Since he is still a young guy, he is a bit jumpy when he gets excited, but that’s only because no one told him that he shouldn’t do that. Nathan likes to play with toys, but he lets you take them from him. He met a few dogs here at the shelter and was uninterested in playing with them. He didn’t mind them being around, just didn’t really want to interact with them. If you have children please be sure to bring them with you when you come to meet him, as he may be too jumpy for some young kids.

This cutie pie doesn’t want to spend another minute without you. Come meet him today!

These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave. and is open 365 days a year. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday; 1pm-8pm; Saturday and Sunday; 10am-5pm. To check the status of an animal, call 267-385-3800. Check in every week with NEast Philly to see the cat and dog of the week.
