Dog of the Week: Dottie

This little darling was found as a stray, but aside from being skinny, and having a little boo-boo on her back, you would never know that this sweet girl was a stray!

Dottie seems to carry no scars, physical or emotional, and her spirit has not been broken. She is young and I couldn’t get in her mouth to see if she still has her baby teeth because she was so wiggly, but she’s definitely under a year old. She is super playful and loves every dog she meets!

So if you are looking to add another dog to your pack, Dottie’s your girl. She has great puppy energy! She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She has no issues with body handling, food or treats.

She has not been tested with kitties yet, so I am not sure how she is with our feline friends but we can cat test her if you have a kitty. Dottie is very treat motivated, so training her will be easy with praise and treats. She isn’t terrible on the leash, but she’ll definitely need practice and the right apparatus. She is a happy-go-lucky girl looking for a new family to call her own. So if you are looking for a young, furry companion to love, snuggle, and laugh with, you should meet Dottie!
