Dog of the Week: Dina
Dina (A12829867) was found as a stray and brought to the shelter, but her owners never came to claim her. She is a beautiful 3- to 5-year-old pit bull terrier mix. She has a gorgeous, soft, chestnut/golden colored coat with striking hazel eyes. She would love nothing more than to just curl up in your lap for some pets and cuddle time. She is a pretty calm dog, and she walked nice and easy on the leash.
Dina would love an owner who will show her what commitment is all about and that it’s possible to trust someone for life. Poor Dina has had several litters in her short lifetime and was probably used for breeding. It’s Dina’s time to enjoy life and just act like a dog. She met a few dogs here at the shelter. She was tolerant of them sniffing her and wanting to play with her. She didn’t show any interest in cats at this time, but please let us know if you have cats so that we can test her again. Please come to the shelter to meet this sweet mamma dog. The shelter is full and Dina needs a hero today.
